Plant Manager (La Salle, CO)

BerQ RNG is looking for a Plant Manager for its dairy manure digester biogas to renewable natural gas (RNG) facility referred to as the Platte River Biogas facility located in LaSalle, Colorado. The successful candidate will provide the overall policy making, planning and direction of plant operation activities with the objective of plant health and safety, environmental compliance, and maximize growth and profitability, while providing day to day leadership and management of all plant operations functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and recommend operations policy, goals, and objectives. Develop specific short-term plans and objectives with supporting data and budgets.

Operations Manager (Kalamazoo - Fulton, MI)

BerQ RNG is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee all plant operations, including but not limited to receiving and processing manure or feedstock for digester receiving, the production of biogas, renewable natural gas, digestate, and wastewater management in the performance of their job duties, including but not limited to responding to issues as they arise. This includes activities involving communicating and coordinating effectively with key BerQ departments such as HR, Accounting, Engineering, Reliability, Development, Asset Management, Equipment Maintenance, Safety, and Environmental Compliance.

This role works seamlessly with all functions and support systems within BerQ RNG. This is a hands-on leadership position that leads the plant production of biogas and renewable natural gas, ensuring a safe, efficient, and reliable operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Run the plant and all related operations - utilize SCADA and HMI systems to oversee all plant processes, ensuring accurate and real-time data monitoring and plant operation.

  • Monitor, manage, and improve facility production and all site safety-related items.

  • Responsible for all operators and technicians’ training, safety, and compliance.

  • Assist and direct all site operations and related matters.

  • Assist leaders with the preparation of the annual business plan and expenses, and capital budgets.

  • Establish and maintain a proactive and professional environment for all personnel.

  • Communicate daily and promptly with Operators and Technicians to resolve daily issues.

  • Assist operators and technicians to ensure all equipment is being used and in proper working condition.

BerQ RNG is seeking a Senior Director of Finance who will lead the financial strategy, planning, and management of the company’s growing RNG project portfolio across North America. The Senior Director of Finance will oversee corporate financial operations, project finance structuring, financial modeling, and capital planning to support the development, construction, and operation of RNG projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with the executive leadership team to support investment decisions, manage financial risk, and ensure the company maintains strong financial discipline as it scales its project portfolio. The Senior Director of Finance will collaborate cross-functionally with development, construction, operations, and external financial partners to support project execution and maximize project returns.

This role requires a strategic financial leader with strong analytical capabilities, experience in energy or infrastructure project finance, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities:

The Vice President will work cross-functionally to support the diligence and evaluation of prospective development opportunities, including anaerobic digester and landfill methane projects.
