The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for the implementation of health & safety compliance programs at all BerQ RNG biogas project sites and offices. Reporting to the EVP and Chief Legal Officer, this position will be responsible for mitigating hazardous conditions resulting from human error, equipment and operations while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. The position will administer BerQ RNG’s safety training program.
Responsibilities:
Provide safety oversight to field personnel to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and applicable regulations.
Develop and update safety manuals and training programs for the effective implementation of the safety programs at each site.
Schedule and conduct periodic on-site safety compliance program audits, studies and evaluations. Track and ensure closure of compliance findings.
Conduct safety training and education programs, and demonstrate the use of safety equipment.
Investigate and track accidents and other reportable incidents to identify causes and to determine how such accidents and incidents might be prevented in the future.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related engineering or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial environment.
Experience with digesters, landfills, oil and gas operations, or biohazard environments is strongly preferred.
Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification required.
Working knowledge of U.S. OSHA regulations required; familiarity with Canadian health and safety regulations considered a plus.
Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing workplace safety programs in industrial operations.
Strong verbal, written, computer communication and organization skills.
Ability to interact positively and effectively in a team environment.

They will perform daily activities to ensure plant uptime and adherence to product quality specifications. Corporate Maintenance Manager
BerQ RNG is seeking a Corporate Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a scalable, standardized maintenance operating model across BerQ RNG’s portfolio of 10–30 facilities. The role will begin with a 4–6-month onsite assignment at the Colorado facility to pilot, stabilize, and refine the maintenance program before transitioning to enterprise-wide rollout and ongoing governance. As the corporate owner of maintenance standards and systems, this position drives consistency in CMMS governance, maintenance planning and scheduling maturity, reliability program execution, and performance accountability across the fleet. The overarching objective is to reduce unplanned downtime, improve asset reliability, strengthen maintenance execution, enhance data integrity, and support long-term operational excellence throughout BerQ RNG’s operations.
This role partners with site teams on maintenance strategy, while daily execution stays local. Reliability methods and PM optimization are led by the Lead Reliability Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Colorado Pilot Implementation (First 4–6 Months)
Assess and improve current maintenance practices, backlog, and work order quality
Implement structured planning and scheduling processes
Standardize workflows, documentation, and CMMS asset hierarchy
